For Christmas, TP Vision, the company that manufactures the Philips TV, offers two models of its range. Both use panels with LCD Ultra HD resolution, with a Smart TV platform based on Android. The series is the lower-end 7900, with dual TV tuner to record one program while watching another. The design provides a very thin bezel, with the inevitable Ambilight on the left and right sides.
If you are looking for outstanding performance, you can opt for the series 9100, which provides, such as 7900, full access to all the applications on the Play Store. The upscaling of the images (those with lower resolution Ultra HD) is entrusted to ' Ultra Resolution, a proprietary algorithm especially developed.
The Ambilight is present in the version of the four sides, while the base "Arc stand" creates the illusion that the TV is floating in an aura of light. The audio section takes advantage of the presence of a subwoofer wireless 50W, used to reinforce the reproduction of low frequencies. The remote control of the TV Philips 9100 can function as a screen pointer, and also integrates a microphone and a full QWERTY keyboard, on the back side.
